KBK Visuals & LedLease at Lowlands X-RAY

Every summer for the past seven years (2009-2015) we have been rocking the X-RAY area at Lowlands Festival with live visuals and a stage design in cooperation with Ledlease. We improve and expand the setup each year, trying to achieve an even more immersive visual experience than we did the year before.

In 2012 & 2013 we pushed things to the limit by creating a setup of twenty LED bars from the front to the back of the ceiling and a large LED screen behind the DJ. Advanced input scalings were created with the latest version of Resolume Arena, combined with custom made pixel mapping based video content.

The X-RAY area is known for hosting a selective mixture of upcoming and renowned experimental electronic artists performing live during the day and with a focus on DJ sets at night. Throughout the years we’ve visualised the sounds for some of our favourite artists such as Chris Clark, Actress and Siriusmo. Open from two in the afternoon until five in the morning for three days in a row, the X-RAY stands for electronic madness at Lowlands Festival. The whole experience has always been one of our summer’s highlights ever since 2009.
